Lessons to learn from the Japanese.

As designers we're always challenged with coming up with creative ways to utilize space for promotions in our churches. Either the lobby is too small, the narthex is too big, or a dozen different ministries are competing for the same space.

Check out these examples of Japanese advertisers creatively utilizing limited space in the subway systems of Japan. Though we're not having to go as far as hijacking the hand rails in our stair wells for promotions space, it's always great inspiration to see how others in our field are thinking creatively to solve problems.

Here is a video showing the subway tunnel videos used in many Japanese subways. Not actually a video, but a series of images to create a video (think a flip-book animation). Way cool stuff.
