Police Brutality

I'm annoyed. All the ignorant peace i've been enjoying for the past 14 years is slowly crumbling away, exposing the real world in all it's unholy glory, like the mouldy wood you've discovered under the drywall because you thought it would be a good idea to ride a pizza box down the stairs (It never happened I swear). Sure, I still love and apreaciate life in all it's fetid glory, but everything just seems a little less shiny than it did before.

For example, since I've actually started taking an interest in the goings on around me, I've started to notice nasty things. The kind you'd normally only hear with the phrase: it'd only happen in america tacked onto the end.
Bloody hell, it happened last week. This group of anti-nuclear protesters went in to Julie Bishops office (Our local MP, and right-wing nutjob in her free time) to give her a petition on banning nuclear power in subiaco. Well, the last thing you'd expect a representative of the community to do with a bunch of peaceful protestors is sick the riot police on them. So, instead of a listening ear, they got rubber bullet kisses and baton courtesies gratis the Perth metropolitan police. Oh, and enough lungfuls of tear gas to make even an onion cry.

So much for democracy, but then again, I'm pretty sure it's been dead for a while, but I've only just noticed the smell.

Ahh. That's me for now, but expect to hear from me soon, as a lot of interesting happenings have been... urr.. happening, and i'm itching to get back into the bloggin saddle.

Chalkley Away! *whoosh*
