promises, engagements failed.
reasoning found in disappointment.
sympathy overruled by broken hopes and hearts.
tomorrow the dusk will never end.

clearly

this can wait
everything needs to be lucid
crystal concentration
clarity is central,
my lovely essential

escape

painting a concrete cure
this memory less traveled
partly cloudy, a chance of rain
he looks forward to tomorrow
faith misleading, falsified
the next day drowned out
clean canvas for creation
