Hate rehashing past hearbreaks...I guess when you're telling people about your last relationships, it will come up how it all went kaput. How they thought you were moving too fast and, yet, they were the ones talking about moving in together, getting married and having children. Or how they said they couldn't do a long-distance thing and you both wanted different things (ie--you want kids and they don't)...yet, they started dating someone like 3 weeks after you broke up AND they are doing the long distance thing. sheesh!! All these talks make me look back at their pictures and wish I had that one second to slap them. hehe i know, i know--a little violent, but hey at least i would get it out of my system, right? So now I find myself just going out all the time and enjoying being single. I guess that is the bright side to all this craziness. Just venting...moving forward! :-)

Well, i am at work and i am looking out my office window...1/2 mile visability and plenty of lightning! eek!! thank goodness i am not flying today nor am i driving around. i just wish i could be at home, nestled in my covers and stuffing my face with pizza. (ok, not very cute nor classy, but hey!) well, let's just hope that hurricane dean doesn't have its way with houston--then i may be driving out to san antonio..or maybe float away!

Well I just 3 days of wedding stuff. Yes---a lot of fun, open bars, dancing, eating, and all out debauchery. Met plenty of new people and exchanged plenty of email addresses. Congrats to all the newlyweds!! (Hopefully very lucky beginnings since 2 of them had weddings on 07-07-07!) Ross and Viv-Thanks for including me in your festivities. It was all gorgeous...and, yes, I will have to go the Philippines for the big shindig! I can't wait until February 2008. To Nida-Thanks for inviting me to your cousin Farrah's beautiful wedding. The mayu (spelling?), the mendhi and the formal dinner were gorgeous. Tell your family (your bros and cousins)...thanks for taking me under their wings. Lots of fun. I will have to visit you in Michigan now. All in all...weddings are beautiful and it's all about making new friends, embracing new cultures, getting all gussied up, and about 2 families becoming one. Well I went out on Saturday night to Club Fix and had a very unusual thing happen to me. This is how it went down: Open scene: Betty walks up to the patio of the Club Fix late in the evening to get a new beverage. There are 3 people standing by the bar...blocking. The woman standing right in front of Betty..scoots over and states: "I am blocking the bar..lemme get out of your way." Betty's response: "Bar-blocking is way worse than cock-blocking." Not a very classy response, but one that gets a laugh out of the woman. She goes on to tell her that Betty reminds her of someone she knows and asks for her name. "Betty, nice to meet you." "I guess you're not the person I thought you were.." "Really...well who did you think I was?" "This friend of mine that is a stripper." "I don't think i am stripper material." What do you think? Where did she ever get that?? LOL
