In Southern California born and raised, on the beaches I spent most of my days...
We got sunshine, we got rain, we get snow up on those beautiful mountains, pristine beaches, lakes, tall redwood trees, cityscapes...there isn't anywhere in the world quite like California. Sure we got traffic, some smog now and again, materialistic nut balls, crowded streets and schools, but I love this place just the same.
So about me...I grew up in a large family compared to most, 9 kids total, and I am the 8th. I got to experience a little of everything, shared a room with 2 brothers for a while and then my sister, enjoyed the extra baggy clothes and toy hand-me-downs, goodwill clothing, and payless shoes. Being one the youngest has some amazing perks, I get to see everyone ahead of me make choices first good and bad and learn from them and I also got to be pretty spoiled when they moved on. Got my own room, a car, free rent, and school is payed for as long as I want to stick with it! I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I loved art and music but not extremely talented at either one. I just liked to draw, paint, sing, and take photographs. Played the cello for a couple years then dropped it and took up the flute, dropped that too and took up the guitar which I am still learning to play well. I wish I never gave up on the cello and I hope to take it back up some day. I still love to sing and I sing on the worship team at my church. In high school I discovered film making and fell in love. I want to make films that impact hearts and minds with the love of God. Jesus saved me and everyday I am so grateful to Him for being my Lord, savior, and friend. He has always been with me and continues to pursue me. I am happy when I am serving Him and bringing others to know Him and His love for them.

That's one of your oranges. I think just a few more years of the effects of global warming should allow us to be able to grow our own.
