About
Christopher Klug first took up the guitar at the age of twelve and his first lessons were in electric guitar. Much of his early development on the guitar came from playing in bands and learning from friends. He has toured extensively with "The Minus Tide" and recorded four albums with the group.
He first studied the classical guitar with Jeffery Nugent at the age of 19 and a year later started his studies with Nels Leonard at West Liberty State College. Christopher has performed in master-classes with Andrew Zohn, Mary Akerman, Jeffrey McFadden, Elliot Frank, Ana Vidovic, Mir Ali, and Stanley Yates. In 2008 he received his M.M. from The University of Akron under the tutelage of Stephen Aron.
