"Tchaikowski has this rare ability to draw us into the singer's private emotional terrain, with stories that feel like she's been eavesdropping on the listener's hopes and heartaches" writes Variety's Steven Gaydos of songstress Claire Tchaikowski.
A professional rider in her early 20s, Claire left horses to study music. "I moved to London to study at Vocaltech in 1998, and have lived here since, writing songs, singing in bands and working with various producers." Claire told ChiswickW4.com.
The singer / songwriter's debut album, Those Thousand Seas, has just been released on iTunes. "It's a mix of songs written alone and co-writes, all of them written here in Chiswick." Says Claire, "It was produced by Mike Hedges (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Hedges) and a team which includes some of the best players and arrangers in the country."
"It's taken all this time to get this debut album ready and out, and I just hope people love it and feel moved, in whatever way, when they listen to it."
