Hi, my name's Abigail. I'm a traveling musician and songwriter. I play clawhammer banjo. I'm from Evanston, Illinois but I lived in China for a while. As a result I learned a fair amount of Chinese, which I now incorporate in several of my songs. I play solo, with my all-girl roots group Uncle Earl, and with Bela Fleck, among other virtuosos (and great guys), in the Sparrow Quartet. I'm about to embark on tour with the Sparrow Quartet--including a date at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in June--and we have a new disc coming your way soon!
