The identical twins began writing songs soon after they became Christians, aged fourteen. Growing up in Birmingham, they sang in various groups and choirs (as backing and lead vocalists), drawing from a wealth of musical influence, from Fauré, Handel and Mozart, to Ella Fitzgerald, Kirk Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Lauren Hill.
In an interview with Justin Brierley on London's Premier Radio, Justin described their first EP, 'Love never Fails' as 'superb' and continues to give air-time. Ian Arbuckle, Revival FM (Scotland) also stated that the 10 track CDR 'Attitudes' 'was absolutely brilliant and he loved the album - all of it!'. If you've listened to their myspace track Don't Worry, you will have heard Nikki Tapper on BBC Radio WM give her view of the Attitudes CDR... 'Wonderful'
'I think they're great and so do a lot of other people'... Owen Uriah (on BBC Radio WM - Jan 08)
Giving an 8/10 rating for 'Attitudes', John Baugh of Crossrhythms said: 'Attitude - now there is a word, ... these two (Clair and Rose) certainly have a good attitude. "In all I do, give me an attitude of praise... I can't fault that... a groove to get you moving, tunes to draw you into singing along, lyrics to engage your brain and sweet voices to take your breath away. Is the message getting across? This is really, really good.''
Additional recording projects include collaborations with Rare-Jewelz, Karsten Forsey, Brucie Quantise, The Judderman and Ken Carter. As well as other events with jazz artists; Konig, Trevor Davis, the Nick Griffiths Big Band and Carol Brewster. Hip hop artists; Rare Jewelz, Gap D, Solar Angelics. Gospel Reggae artist; Owen Uriah and musical directors; Peter Churchill, Josh Jones, JJ Ford and John Barber (j-barber.com) among others.
They worked with various friends as producers for the Attitudes CDR, in particular John Barber, Brucie Quantise and Mark Horton who's creativity have been a real inspiration.
Lately, they have been recording with Ivor Novello award winning Producer Gordon Lorenz (EMI Records). Who said of Clearrose "they are terrific; talented musicians and a real pleasure to work with."

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
