Japanese guitarist / composer
from Sapporo
Born in Jan.9th 1971

Begun to play guitar when I was 13 years old.
Self-taught various guitar techniques and playing styles.
I have learned song writing, bass guitar and keyboard,
when I was playing guitar in numbers of different bands in Sapporo.

1992 Joined GUNIW TOOLS.
Self-released works (video and cassette tape).

1995 Made a contract with Victor Entertainment.
We moved to Tokyo, after recording our first album.

1996 GUNIW TOOLS debut with an album "NIWLUN".
1997 "OTHER GOOSE" and "SPARKY" released.
1998 "LIVE SPARKY" released.

After a show at the NHK hall (Tokyo), I left the band.
Released 4 albums and videos. we made all songs into video.
2003 DVD BOX "GUNIW VALUE SET" released.

I formed SUPER SOUL SONICS with Yoshiki Kishino(iMaginations) in 1997.
Worked on recordings and live performances with many great musicians.
1998 "SUPER SOUL SONICS"
1999 "HOOP"
2001 "S.U.N."
2002 "GALACTICA"
Released 4 albums and 8 singles.
2003 Yoshiki and I announced to recess activities as SUPER SOUL SONICS to
devote ourselves to each other's own projects.

Working as a guitarist / composer for live performances and recordings
with following
artists: Atsushi Sakurai(Buck-Tick), Kiyoharu, ENDS, hitomi, Mariko Ide, T.M.Revolution and more.

In 2003, began my solo project: cloudchair.
2003 Album "cloudchair" released.
2007 "ECHOES AND WHISPERS" released on the Internet.

This is made only with my guitar sounds.
I want to create a musical ambience that each listener can visualize their image
sceneries.
