Thrice is one of my favorite bands of hard music, but this record has 2 discs that have different styles.  The first is the usual hard rock, then the second is more electronic and atmospheric.  Very great listen all the way through.

FEIST "THE REMINDER"
First off, I would like to say that BEFORE the ipod commercial and long ago I had bought "Open Season" which was a remix album from Leslie Feist and loved it.  This record I had actually gotten early from the Euro release and loved it.  Then came all the hype afterward.  So there you have it, I am legit and a true Feist fan.  Whatever.

This is a band I first heard about in college, I was not a fan but I decided to get this album to work out to and it blew me away.  Solid record and very different from a typical hard rock album.  I am now a fan.

SEV STATIK & DJ DUST "BACK TO DUST"
Solid underground hiphop from the East Coast.  Great guest appearances and a stellar album really.  I have been a fan of both of these guys for some time and this is the best stuff yet. Btw this record does NOT have explicit lyrics contrary to the listing.
