About
Coen met een C (in English: Coen with a C) is a Dutch illustrator & designer who lives in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Inspired by too many things to mention here, Coen has developed his own very personal technique and colourful, atmospheric style, using textures, photography, collage and paint.
Coen attended the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. After his graduation in 2004, he used to work as an illustrator, graphic, web & motion designer at different design studios. Since 2009, Coen works as an independent artist.
This year, three of his works are selected for
'200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 09/10' by an international jury and Luerzer's Archive, that is published in 35 countries worldwide, July 2009.
