i'm getting more and more used to OS X these days, and there's lots to love, but there is one thing that bothers me today.... i am so tired of floating toolbar windows!!! they are all over the place! font/formatting toolbar windows from Pages, MS...

just checked out the dvd "who killed the electric car?" from the library... i would recommend everyone watch it. earlier, we watched "an inconvenient truth" which i also highly recommend. both are very well done and address the issues in a fair way, without creating a straw man.

i like the heroes show. it is interesting, though, that in real life genetic mutation leads most often toward some disease or handicap. there are mutations going on all the time, but i know of none that have ever yielded an evolutionary advantage...

now that i've got my macbook, OS X is finally my primary OS. i've been in windows world for the last 5 years or so, before that i was all mac OS 9. anyway, there are some growing pains switching back to OS X... some of the differences i just need...
