Gordon Collier

Acoustic / Folk Rock

Richmond, VA

Billboard

My name is Gordon Collier and I currently reside in Richmond, VA. Gather My Bones was recorded and produced entirely by my best friend James McManus at Arapahoe Records with nothing more than a microphone a lap top and the dining room table. I love the homemade aspect of "For You" as some of the accidentals are exposed in the layers of the song. I'm looking forward to completing the remainder of the CD and the title track "Gather my Bones". Risk and Wisdom along with Horizon Line were actually two songs that I wrote while in a band called Graylynn's Vine. They were originally recorded at Digital Pig studio's and produced by our percussionist at the time.

I hope you enjoy the music and while you're at it check out the music for James McManus as well at http://www.virb.com/mcmanus.

Leave me a comment. I would appreciate the feeback.

Thanks,

Gordon

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany! Feel free to download my music!

YEAH! Great music - that is the best I have ever heard you! Not that live isn't good enough but via tape, cd, or internet this is by far the best! Awesome.
