About

Richmond, VA acoustic rock-folkster Gordon Collier is currently working on a collection of songs written by the artist, but sometimes accompanied by James McManus (www.virb.com/mcmanus). Collier has been working his way up from the Hardcore/Punk days of the eighties, the acoustic rock sound of the mid to late nineties and now the occasional solo, acoustic coffee house gig.

The upcoming CD "Gather my Bones" is currently under construction and is being recorded and produced entirely by McManus at Arapahoe Records with nothing more than a microphone a lap top and the dining room table.

Risk and Wisdom along with Horizon Line were originally written by Collier while in a band called Graylynn's Vine. They were originally recorded at Digital Pig studio's and produced by their percussionist at the time.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
