About

Conorach is a Metal band from the western part of the Netherlands.
Their music can best be described as melodic Folk Metal.
A mixture of Power Metal and Folk if you will. The self written material
is inspired by bands like Korpiklaani, Skyclad, Elvenking and Finntroll.
Originally formed in the year 2000, some changes have been in the line up.
At the end of 2005 a solid formation was formed.

In the beginning of 2006 a demo is recorded, called "A New Day Rising".
The vocals were done by one of the guitarists (Jurgen) because the band
was still searching for a singer/front man.
That search was over when Jacco was found.
Now Conorach is complete and ready to rock!

In September 2006 Conorach plays its debut gig at Speakers in Delft, performing
as support act for Annatar (NL). More gigs follow, e.g. at the Baroeg (Rotterdam),
on the Midwinter Fair at Archeon, at the Koornbeurs (Delft) and a spectacular
performance at Unitas (Wageningen). So far, Conorach has played with the following bands:
Eluveitie (CH), Odroerir (DE), Heidevolk, Svidgar, Annatar, Magion, A New Dawn.

For 2007 the plans are: a lot of gigs, working on new material and recording a full length album.
