THE NEW ALBUM:
"All days are present... This moment contains all moments."
-C.S. Lewis
YES! I just released my new album this month!
"The Space/Time Continuum" is a science-fiction story... it's the rock-opera I said I wanted to record, but you always laughed cause you didn't think rock-operas are cool.
Some good friends of mine helped me out in the studio... Gaelan Sylvia Played Drums, John VanDeusen & Sarah Atkins Sang, Seth Fikkert produced, Johnathan Warman recorded, & Cameron Nicklaus Mixed.

The Space/Time Continuum
Album Review, Sep. 2007
By Boris Budd
The Space/Time Continuum by Corbin Watkins is a 9-part (song) sci-fi story that is filled with twists and turns both in the story and musically. I'm still trying to figure out the gist of the story on this delightful concept album. It seems that the sci-fi thing draws paradigms with many relationship topics and that good old self-discovery thing, but that's for you to decide.
Technically, the production is impeccable. This is probably one of the smoothest Indie releases I've heard. Watkins alternates acoustic piano parts with jangle filled guitar pop and wonderful vocals and harmonies. Songs such as "A Hollow Promise, Antibodies and Tree Rings" are stand on their own, great songs. The arrangements reminiscent of Dream Academy are rich and yet explosive at times due to top-notch guitar work.
At times the record made me feel like I was at an off- Broadway musical, which I found kind of amusing, but not detrimental. Maybe he should turn this into a play. The bottom line is that Corbin Watkins is kind of a nut with a lot of talent. His work is a breath of fresh air in the current environment. I wonder what he thinks about in his spare time? Everybody should check this record out without fail.
