BittBox
BittBox is quickly becoming of the most followed sites on the net. The amount of free downloads for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is astounding. There are also a number of links to additional sites that are sure to be part of your bookmarks as well.
Von Glitschka
Art Backwash is the blog of a tremendous illustrator - Von Glitschka (aka Vonster). There aren't any free downloads here, but what you will get is some astounding inspiration. However, if you're looking for some great tutorials and podcasts, then check out: The Illustrative Designer and Illustration Class ... both created by Von Glitschka.
Core 77
Core 77 is a great site to gain some inspiration for print, web, and industrial design. They scour the web finding some amazing stuff so you can add to your mental, and physical, sketchbook.
Kuler
If you have't found Kuler over at Adobe Labs, you'll want to ASAP. While I'm also a huge fan of Color Schemer, Kuler is a great resource for color inspiration.
Ask the CSS Guy
Purely web, Ask the CSS Guy is a wonderful resource for new and seasoned web designers who live and breathe CSS.
CSS Vault
Also in the web design relm is CSS Vault - resources ... CSS vault has done a great job of finding some of the best resources for web designers, so you don't have to do all the leg work yourself. In addition, Vitamin is a veritable warehouse of knowledge for web designers that you'll want to subscribe to as well.
Well, this is by no means an exhaustive list, but one to get the ball rolling. Where do you find your inspiration for Design (print or web)? Please share...
