what a long, strange trip it's been so far... i've been to lots of places and seen many things. a jack of all trades but master of none. it would be nice to meet some new, interesting people, i'm tired of all the people i already know :), with exception of course...
i really like art... in all forms. i've been dj'ing fine electronica since i was 15 years old. for the longest time i played only drum and bass, but more recently i've expanded my horizons and have gotten into other flavors like chill house, breakbeats, downtempo, etc. you can check out the music page on my blog for mixes and stuff at criticaldistance.net/music
i've always been a huge fan of colors. i was a major graphic arts weenie in high school, winning numerous awards for innovative screen printing (4 color process screen printing on tshirts, stickers, unusual surfaces). i got into computers around the age of 10... drawing ansi and ascii art for local bbs's (god i miss those).
this led me down the path of computer based design. i've been doing that off and on for fun for years, but recently started a small creative firm in the hopes of making some money to finance my travel obsession.
