Hi, we're Crossfox. We first started playing music together in March of 2006. At the time the band consisted of Chris (guitar), Andrew (guitar), and Tim (drums). Chris (a Woodinville, Washington native) was a member along with Tim (of Kodiak, Alaska, and Bellingham, Washington) of the Bellingham band the Marianas Anchor. Previous to this Chris fronted his High School band, Ocean Kamotion, in the Kirkland/Redmond area playing all-ages shows.
Tim Meanwhile had been playing with his band in Bellingham: Rudy's Hill. All of it's members were from Kodiak, Alaska, and had moved to the city of subdued excitement for schooling at WWU. Andy Nault of Rudy's Hill went on to form the Marianas Anchor with Tim and Chris and Jeff Kirby, also of Bellingham fame. After the Marianas Anchor broke up and some time spent with unfruitful projects Andrew (also a previous Kodiak resident) began playing with Tim and Chris. We wrote a handful of songs before playing our first shows as C.A.T in Duvall and Kirkland. It wasn't until just before playing our first show in Bellingham was the name Crossfox conceived.
We are a band of amateur/professional recording engineers and are associated with our home studio known as Skeleton Coast. With it we have tracked our own songs as well as music for the Russians, Brunette Sweat, Karate Kitchen, Ten Killing Hands, Riverside Drive and others. After tracking two songs for our demo we tracked two more with help from our friend Aaron Cramer. Aaron is a badass motherfucker who has recorded numerous bands and was once the drummer for Mu Meson of Tricities fame. These two songs joined the two from our demo to form our first EP. Just in time too, because we had just finished mastering and burning fifty copies before we opened for Minus the Bear the next night with our sister Karate Kitchen. Since then we have been playing shows in Bellingham with the occasional Kirkland show. At the beginning of 2007 Aaron finally joined the band, bringing his much needed bass with him. Since then we have been playing as a quartet and hope to keep doing so. We currently have more songs which we are tracking in the studio, and hopefully we can get them out soon.

I like your logo!
"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!
