possible costume?

Trying to come up with a costume for a party I'm going to next weekend. I'm trying to decide if the idea I came up with is lame or clever.
I'm thinking of going as myself 12 years ago. I'll drag out my flannel shirt, Doc Martens boots, leather motorcycle jacket and this crushed red velvet dress that I used to wear all the time. If only I could find a wig of really long curly/frizzy auburn hair.
Or I might go as a lumberjack.
