A propos de Crysalys
Crysalys a débuté en 2002. Après la séparation d'un premier groupe, Val' se retrouve seul avec pleins d'idées en tête. Il passe plus de 2 ans à accumuler matériels et compositions suffisants à l'enregistrement d'une démo. Malheureusement le projet est arrété presque à la fin par le vol de l'ordinateur qui contenait la démo.

Heureusement, il était déjà en contact avec Alban qui croyait très fort au potentiel de Crysalys. C'est donc avec lui vers septembre 2005, que le groupe commence à prendre forme. L'envie revient et même de nouvelles compos sont écrites. C'est vers la fin 2005 que Djaï integre le groupe puis mi 2006 pour Loki.

Les répètes débutent en Mars 2006 et depuis le groupe ne cesse de peaufiner sa musique personnelle à la frontière du death, du heavy et de l'atmo.

Crysalys is a musical project which was set up gradually since the year 2002.
After having composed ten songs rather different from each other, it quickly proved that this project would not be limited only to one well defined style of music. It is thus to this end that I have started to work for 2 years.
The style of Crysalys thus varies with the liking of the emotions, sometimes violent, sometimes melancholic... The music can be done raging or calm. Environments and atmosphere which emerge some stick thus more to one daily reality which is not white or black but gray.
The topic approached is inspired completely by my lived. Crysalys is the deformation of the chrysalis, stage where the caterpillar is transformed into butterfly, defining thus perfectly the stage hinge of adolescence. Aren't suffering, loneliness, rage but always the hope bus that which makes us live?

The music thus varies between metal with the fast and jerked fronts loans with trash and death metal, and atmospheric, with calm passages where synths and electronics have the beautiful share. The melodies also occupy an important place, as well as the soli. It results a style from it with difficulty sortable and changing. Nevertheless the identity is well there.

I find some guys to help to bring music of crysalys on Stage. Alban, Djaï and Loki came with lot of ideas. Since march '06, the band begin to work with one .. ... STAGE. Hoping to bring a stone to the building that the family of metal represents, Crysalys leaves silk gently to unfold its wings.
