About
Cushion Caroms, the electroacoustic trio formed by Takeshi Nishimoto (guitar), 1605munro and Miwon (electronics) in 2008, is the sum of its musical characters. Taking the jazzy and unique sound of Takeshi's guitar as the main source, the band catalizes the roots of its members, casting Nishimoto's virtuosity, 1605munro's experimental approach and Miwon's sense of electronic pop in a compact production.
The result of this encounter is no head-scratcher, but a unique way of developing and manifesting a common favourite sound. In close collaboration with Telematique + U-Matic, Cushion Caroms offer an audiovisual performance that brings together precise and cutting-edge visual art with the musical live momentum.
