cycle60 is composer and sound designer Rico Benjamin. He's been active in the electronic music scene since the late 80s and has a degree in audio technology from the Berklee College of Music.
From raves and warehouse parties to galleries and art museums, cycle60 has entertained - and challenged - many audiences with a blend of ambient grooves, dub basslines and experimental soundscapes.
Recent collaborations with The Microdot Ensemeble have yielded 2 digital releases. cycle60 also partnered with electronic artists nofi and BluPoe to create the soundtrack for an independant scfi film, "d.r.o.n.e.".
When not working with audio, he's heavily involved with television production and motion graphic design. He routinely offers free audio samples and VJ clips for download on his homepage.
