About

D_composure is a south Florida based electronic/rock outfit fronted by singer/songwriter/producer: Joseph Beaty and producer/engineer: Ryan Copt. Joseph and Ryan are formerly of the semi-national act, Mindlikewater. Bassist Bill Jarrett and Guitarist Matthew Short unify Beaty and Copt's already solid musical vision. Together, Joseph and Ryan also work as an artist development team in conjunction with nationally known producer/engineers, Tony Bongiovi (Ramones, Talking Heads, etc.) and Joseph Butera III (Deepside: A Jive records recording artist.) through affiliate studios: Powerstation Studio of Pompano Beach and Avalon Recording Studio of Port Saint Lucie, FL. The main objective is to obtain investor interest to bring D_composure to a national market by way of internet and live promotion.

Over the last year, D_composure has been in a constant state of writing with over 4 albums of rough material to pick and choose from. The live performance is being put together with kid gloves. A four piece band has been assembled to acheive our goals visibly as well as sonically. Members of D_composure have opened for numerous national acts including, Muse, The Faint, Copeland, Korn, Flyleaf and Switchfoot to name a few.

D_composure's plans are all things immediate and futuristic. A modern sound with a knack for being ahead of the curve. Understanding all facets of music equally. Aiming to please fans of melodic emotion and true subject matter. It has been said by local fans of the band that D_composure single-handedly defies all genres of music with a blend of melodic voices, hard-hitting beats, electronic soundscapes, explosive guitars, breathtaking string and piano arrangements. D_composure will re-define music with a new way to express the current state of chaos that is the world with unmeasurable layers of noise to contrast delicate and approachable songs.

As many of you already know, on October 19, Balm will open up for "the Boss" at the House of Blues in Chicago! (7:30 PM)
Reaction has been quite enthusiastic to say the least. However the House of Blues is a rather small venue and I want my special friends in the area to be there. So here is the deal: I have reserved 50 free tickets for Zunist! That's right!
All you have to do is to show up with your Zune, show it to the bouncers and say, "I'm a friend of Steve's!" They will usher you to several mid-section tables, all expenses paid (peanuts, chips, sodas, fajitas ... all pre-paid). Be sure to show early on the day of the show, because when the 50 are gone that's it!
