About Daddy UK's new EP - Musical Influences Long Forgotten Vol. 1.0
"This self-called super group has been gaining as much attention from their tabloid antics as they have from this a series of unlikely covers from artists such as Phil Collins, Guns and Roses, Squeeze and Foreigner. - All bands that Daddy (UK) professes to hate. "Cry Me A River" is almost un-recognizable from the Justin Timberlake version and has an energy and feel reminiscent of the Police in their heyday.
Recorded as a warm up to their forthcoming debut CD, Daddy has a sound that has been called The Killers meet King Crimson and this EP would be a classic if it had more originals and/or was a full 10 to 12 songs. "Nothing Left To Say" is a real stand out as the only original track. It gives us an idea of what all the buzz is about and why as writers, they might have something to say themselves."
