The story of Daily Male
During the rainy falls of 1989 a couple of guys in the city of Halmstad was getting quite upset with all those crappy coverbands that popped up like mushrooms everywhere. So we sat down and founded what was to be the band called Daily Male. So by springtime 1990 we had a band, we wrote our own songs and we began to do gigs.
The band entered and won a national music competition 1993 and was voted "best amateur popband" that same year.
Since the beginning, bandmembers has come and gone, as have music styles. As for the bandmembers, there has been times when Daily Male only consisted of two people writing song and doing recording sessions at Recordia. During those periods of time we have had help from distinguished guest musicians. Daily Male express our deepest admiration and thanks to these guys (see bottom of the page).
