I was afforded the opportunity to SPEAK!!! / lead in worship at Anderson University's FCA earlier tonight, filling in for my close friend Lee McDerment who has been under the weather quite often lately. And man does Jesus have a sense of humor... More to come on that tomorrow...

But something I asked Jesus for tonight was for Him to change us.
And all I can ask of Him is to never stop changing me. I need change daily. Because -like birth- every morning I wake up a product of a broken world. I wake up with a sin nature that I can't shake. You know life's getting to you when you wake up quoting the end of Revelation - praying for Jesus to come soon. Not so that I don't have to get out of bed - but so that I don't have to experience another minute of life in rebellion to Jesus. But that is who we are, and who we have been since the fall. So change me Lord Jesus - change me. And come soon Lord Jesus, bring the day - soon...

"And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus."
