Ustream and new server

Ok, so its been crazy here. I know its been like 2-3 months since I posted, but I have been busy with a little site called ustream.tv . If you look to your right and scroll down a bit you will see my live webcam video that I try to keep on my most of the time. So I've been talking with some people and I'm trying to come up with some good ideas on how to use ustream other than just having people watch me typing on the computer most of the time. And then I am moving my blog to a new server so it will be down for a day or so at the end of the month.So just an update and a warning to ya al. Lata.

I'm finally home from camp and it went great.12 people got saved there and some kids got some real help.I'm officially 18 yrs. old now and I think I see a grey hair.Just kidding.Nothing really new here.I'm starting to redesign our church website so it doesn't look too bright like I think it look now.So I guess thats news.Will tell more,LATA.

Very well known verse today.

I Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

"... a peculiar people..."is what I want to show you today.We need to be different from the world.This is said alot,but it must need to be said again because there is not alot of people listening.There are people going around saying that you can live the way you want to and be pleasing to God at the same time.Well that is not true.Christianity is not a list of do's and don'ts,but at the same time,there are some things that we need to obey from the Bible.If you are saved,the Bible calls you a "peculiar" person.Which means that you are different from others.So my question for you this week is,are you different?In all ways of life,are different from the people that are not saved and in church?Are you different?

I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Famous verse. Very well known among the church goers. But do we really seem to grasp it."...cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness." It says all, not some, all. What a wonderful thought that all we have to do is confess our sins, and HE is so just to forgive us. And notice it doesn't say is that after we confess our sins twice, then the forgiveness stops, but rather that no matter how many times we confess our sins, He will forgive them. That is such a comforting thought to me.

Now the application. Confession is ADMITING that you did something wrong. In order for you to get forgiveness from God, you must admit to Him the wrong you have done. Its not a "if I did something wrong" circumstance. It's an "I know I did something wrong" statement. So it's laid all out there, will you confess and get forgiveness. Or will you just stay the way you are now?

I've been working on a new look at tabernaclebaptistfl.com .Version two of the new site should be up by monday.But dont hold me to that.Major new stuff is coming out with the new look,and a couple of new pages will be added.I put an actual greeting to the my home page so I will say here on my blog if there is any updates to my site or the ones I'm managing.Saturday ramblings will be here tomorrow,but I work from 6am to 12pm so it might be a little later on in the day.Keep on living.Lata.

I guess this whole "Saturday Ramblings" is not working out.I guess I need to stop making promises I can't keep.So I have decided to call it quits.Not the Biblical postings,but rather trying to do it every Saturday.So I will just do it from time to time and if I feel like I am able to do it weekly again,I'll let you know.I'm really going to start doing some things with this blog.I need to post more than just "hey,I had a great day" type stuff.So new stuff to come.Lata.

I reworked the contact page so it was easier to get ahold of me thru e-mail,and then my server wouldn't let me up load it.So it looks even more plain than it did before.I'm trying folks.I love this web design stuff.I'm tweaking this site all the time.Some bugs and glitches still,but its getting better.Lata.

Get up on time was never this easy.I love this.This is a very small step towards using your computer for everything.I mean,the The Jetsons.They never had to cook or clean,or set a physical alarm on their night stand.

I am part of a police investigation.Some kids broke into the local High School here and squirted ketchup in the hallways and wrote stuff with chalk on the walls.And guess who sold them the ketchup and chalk?Thats right,yours truly.A police officer came to my job,and talked with my manager.She figured out that I was the one working when the kids bought the stuff.So they called me into work,and the police officer said that what we should do first is go to the school at look at some yearbooks.So we did that,and I kinda recognized one or two of them,but really wasn't for sure.So we went to the police station and looked up some divers licenses on some of these people,and I still wasn't for sure,but it did help them out a little.Then the day of investigation ended with me and a police officer parked at the school when it let out so I could look at most of the students walking by to see if I could recognize any of them.But I really didn't cause they think the people that did this crime are out of school already.But the search continues.I think I have to look at a lineup in the next couple of days.Lata.

Things have been really busy here.I've started a new job(as I said in an earlier post).I have an office/workstation in the back of a computer sales building.Its a small locally owned and run,computer repair and sales store.I'm starting to clean up and sell odds and ends on eBay.Click here to see all the items under the username that the business uses right now.I'm learning a lot about the inside a computer.And how to fix physical problems with a computer.I'm also working on some of my first computer-related love HTML code.I'm writing a eBay page to make our auctions look more attractive.So thats great for me.My goal is to get my senior year done in High School,and then go full time at Southern Computer Services(which is where I work at).I'm working very hard,balancing school and work.But I love it all.Its great to have something that I love to do,and learn about things that I want to know.So all is well and busy in my life.Lata.

The new look of my website is up.What I'm going to do is shut down the rest of the pages,like the home(welcome)page,photos page,and links page.So,over the next few weeks I will be integrating those pages with this one page.So it will be a web design challenge for me.And of course I'll try to make it look nice and user friendly.So once again,I am off to doing new things on the internet.Hooray!
