About
Danif Pradana (PDOB: Jakarta, Indonesia, 1983) is a film student at the "University of Technology, Sydney", with a major study in "Media Arts & Productions". He is a Film Director, Video Artist, and Sound Designer. Started his career as a sound recordists and sound designer in several film and video productions until he finally manage to become a film director after he watched David Lynch's Eraserhead. With a strong conceptual background in sound art, Danif often cooperate his cinematic vision with claustrophobic dronescape sound design. A notable example of his work in sound design and music composition can be heard in "S A K R A L", which is a short experimental film written and directed by himself. He's currently working on his upcoming short film, "CHARLOTTE", which he describe it as a monolithic piece of drone cinema that push the limit of sonic experimentation with surrealistic imagery.
