Danilo Delfino was discovered as a talented artist in the Fine Arts program at Campinas University State in 2003, in Brazil. While studying painting, drawing, sculpture, and arts theory, he worked on extra projects and internships. In his first professional experience with Special Effects, he was building masks and accessories for actors and scenarios becoming a supervisor in charge of the modeling and painting departments with only 19 years old.
Danilo made a very special combination of the gained experience with his actual goal. During the 6 months internship at 26th Bienal de São Paulo, the contact with the Main Stream and artists from different countries changed his vision for the future. Following his dream without wait for graduation, studying the basis of digital design production including motion graphic, print design, web design, and art direction, ten hours a day on his own. This brought him the opportunity to work with a startup studio as Film Editor and Visual Effects Supervisor faster than he thought. After almost a year, Danilo was able to play with advanced 3D graphics and compositing.
Believing that is extremely important to know the essential aspects of his work field, he then moved to the US in 2007 initiating projects with new medias, web development, interactive websites, and also studies about social medias, online marketing, and Apple's iPhone applications. Currently works with Fastlane Communications, a New York based agency and It's also the head behind Delfino ArtStudios, a digital outsourcing studio with an independent creative production for the entertainment industry.
Danilo now focuses his carrer to film and advertising. Either a production designer or art director, with versatility to cooperate with pre and post production at any level.
