Can a person be a plot device? Is it possible for one man to help, to move others along, to be a guiding force ever present in the lives of many but to never be a focus?

I believe the human community of our planet earth works to a specific order, no matter how random it appears that everyone has a specific destiney to fulfill. In which a majority are meant to continue and create generations; taking in as much information as is possible. Then there are those in the minority who are meant to find all the answers in one short span of time to help the others move along in there generations to either discontinue or continue the species. The first mentioned are for lack of a better tem sprouts that are still growing to an unknown predetermined future. The latter are the the gears, pushing these sprouts to grow or forcing them to recede. The latter are also ussually effemiral, mayflies in comparison to the typical human life span.

The next question is, are these "mayflies" human? The answer is. yes, to an extent. These "mayflies are an off shoot in my opinion, a deviation or mutant in the process of human evolution, they exsist as databanks for specific times and reasons. They are still human, again to an extent they are stepping stones in a way a mapping to push the sprouts along. The gear mayflies do what they are supposed to do and die off.
