Life's pretty unremarkable at the moment, so I've been trying to get productive. Just experimenting with cloth pinning and springs to develop a lightweight system to simulate cloth for my 3d film. Still very crude, but it's reacting pretty well in live simulation.
Right now, it's just a simple spring system with a regular face constraint at the base. Just want to explore options before modeling & rigging characters. I'll post more tiddly bits and pieces to document the stresses, discovery and fun in the animated film-making process.
