Today I spent a ridiculously hot and humid summery day sculpting some maquettes in the city from the 2d designs that were produced earlier. After blocking out the masses of the characters, I transported them home and set them up for a first pass analysis. Now I'm at the stage of taking orthographic shots of the models (which I'll post later) and applying digital paint over the top to realise the texturing of the final models.
This is just a rough test to understand the model, and to quickly and loosely be able to modify the models before they are digitally sculpted. It's like sketching rough drawings but in 3d! If a nose needs a lift or a reduction,
