"Music for Rehab is a collection of ambient guitar songs that walk the line between compositions and improvisations. Processing the different tones and adding layers of sound, the songs build as you listen. Slow and open, his compositions fit into the background of your mind, not commanding your attention but still filling a space often neglected by more conventional music. Not to say that there aren't moments that jump out and grab you. Songs like "Loud Fond Mess" and "Never Forsake Your Dying King" begin with melodic acoustic pickings and then twist and turn until they become one big mass.
