"If songwriters are artists painting pictures with words and music, then Dasto is an interior designer creating atmosphere and mood with sound. We could easily throw around a lot more "ambient music" clichés regarding the Tired Fire album, so that's what we'll do. Tired Fire is an album either for close listening and drifting away with, or purest background music. Yes, we're getting poetic now, so we'll leave you with some adjectives that we would have used if we were to continue: lush, melancholic, emotive, opulent, tranquil, serene. Tired Fire is beautiful music in its rawest minimalist form."
