've needed to do this for a while, and due to how overwhelmed i've been with all of you guys "Greatness", i'm moved to put my emotions to words. Here we go.

Seeing as how i can't send everyone of you thank you notes, I wanted to put this up to say two things.

1. Thank you.

2. You ROCK.

Let me explain.

1. As i was taking a walk yesterday with a dear friend of mine, i was talking about how blessed i am to have such great friends that support what i do, and they said, "you know, you should really tell them that. I be they would appreciate it." I smiled ear to ear and agreed.

This cannot be said enough. I get to do what I do because you guys let me. You buy the cds, you come to the shows, you tell your friends about this guy you listen to/saw live/ watch on youtube, etc. For that, there are no words to say thanks.

This new cd has been an awkward change in some ways for me - it's been a season where we have asked a TON of you guys - online voting, spreading the word, and general telling people about me. And you know what? You guys have stepped the freak UP. It has been COMPLETELY OVERWHELMING to me to see how much you guys have taken the torch on these things. I've been SO scared that yall would be turned off by these things, because if there is ONE thing i've never wanted my career to be was to be that of a "CLICK HERE! VOTE HERE! WIN THIS CONTEST IF YOU DO THIS!!" And it hasn't become that, thank goodness, but it's had some whiffs of it that have been necessary, honestly. Which in some ways sucks, but it's the way the game is played these days, so we put on our uniform and play. As have you.

For that, and just generally supporting me. I thank you. I can't say that enough.

Also, thanks to your and your previously mentioned "greatness", we went as high as 3 on the Itunes Top Albums Chart, and I also debuted at 93 on the top 200 Billboard chart, which means i surpassed the new artists chart altogether. YOU guys bought the record, YOU guys spread the word. YOU guys should print this and hang it on the wall to prove what you can do.

2. You ROCK.

You have done the job. You have voted. You have spread the word. You have come to shows. I apologize if this has taxed you guys in any way, but you have ROCKED it. And honestly, i've needed you guys desperately to do these things.

You have stepped up to the plate, and you have hit the grand slam that has won the game. Rally caps have been thrown in the air, babies have been kissed, hands have been high fived.

Know this, there will be more asked of you. PLEASE know that you have delivered, and if you never do anything else, you have done enough. If you do more, you have only gone beyond the call of duty and proven to me how much you guys continue to rock.

With that said, as momentum hopefully spreads and more and more people hear about what we're doing, other people will pick up the torch that a lot of you guys have been carrying for the last 5 years. I wish i could make a medal and send it to every one of yall. I think it would be the "I was there way back when" trophy.

You guys are the wheels, the frame and the motor. I am the paint job. Thanks for letting me do what i do. I really really really mean that.

Hopefully, this is only the beginning.
