Blurb.com call

Yesterday, I get a call, yes a telephone call (which is strange because so many people e-mail) from blurb.com. Blurb is the company I used, to print my OceanPhotos book a few months back. Well, they said they liked the style and feel of my book and they want to print a bunch of them and use it as an example. The books will be used at trade shows, meetings and displayed around their office. It was a pretty cool phone call and I am glad they enjoyed my art work. So, I need to adjust some of the bleeds and correct some of the things, I didn't like about the original one and give them the go ahead. Once I do that I get a couple more free books, that I am going to use to try and sell in some local surf shops also I will put a link up here, in a few days for people to order directly from me.

Well i gave up myspace to come to virb because of all the spam porn I was getting in my friend requests. I have so far loved virb.com because everything has been positive and (except the random band) most people who friend request me, have similar interest and I enjoy their sites. TIll yesterday... Got my first slutty naked girl friend request on virb. Oh well, I guess my eyes are no longer safe. I just have to be strong and resist the temptation to look, delete it right away and don't look back.

I am starting a new young adults service at my church called theGOING. Art Show Recap

WOW!!! tonight was crazy. I wasn't really planning on attending this years show. After 2 years of going and seeing everyone elses work sell and mine just be passed over, I was a bit discouraged. But after a few friends and family who wanted to go up convinced me to join them. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived all but one of my prints had all ready sold. It was very excting and great to know, I was actually helping this great organization once again. Thanks to all my friends and family for supporting me and thanks to those who purchased prints. I hope you enjoy them and thanks for your support. davidmac!
