December 1st found us traveling to Banff, Canada to shoot an advertising campaign for Canada Goose. A great company making the warmest jackets in the world for the people of the great white north in traditional fashion. We stayed in one of the most beautiful (and most haunted) hotels I have ever seen. Great shoot, great people, and freezing cold weather.

So, like I said earlier there are crazy stories about this hotel and how haunted it is. One story being the family who was killed in room 873 and how the litle girl’s fingerprints would always appear on the mirror. It’s now completely boarded up but you can hear the hollowness when you knock on the wall of where they just covered over the door. Google “room 873″.



You can almost make out the door frame right where Claire and Magda hang out.

The view was worth all the ghosts.

Back to LA for a day before we left again to shoot a Levi’s gig.

Last month we worked w/ Capitol and OK GO on photographs for their upcoming album and press pics. It was the second time working with these guys and once again it was a blast. Impeccably styled by Christopher Kreiling.

Here’s the second half of photos we shot while hanging out in Sydney. There are a lot of postcardy photos to be seen here so beware or embrace the tourist in all of us. When we visit and explore a new city we like to pretend we are secret agents and we have to sneak around with a camera to capture the secret of wherever we are. We probably look half crazy and half stupid but it’s all great fun. We take a lot of photos of each other.








This city has a great mixture of new and old.

For some reason this tunnel has a lot of shoe prints on the wall, just think how proud you’d be if you started that.

People actually use this secret tunnel we thought we discovered, a lot. We were definitely the annoying Americans.

And on the other side of our secret tunnel we found our secret koala gallery!



These guys interviewed us in a park minutes after I had a lunch with heaps of MSG and I felt high as a kite and sick as a brick. It was horrible, know wonder why you see all those no MSG signs. They should say “You will not feel completely horrible after eating this tasty stuff because we figured out how to make it good without MSG” on the signs here in the states. Bad news, anyway the site is called WeCriedWolf.com/. Lookout for weird ass Day19 interview on there soon.

when you put them together you get a totally sweet animated gif of Claire doing the running man, or Roger Rabbit. I forget the dance.

This is where we were staying. Not in the bush, but this was the view from our street.

This is the awesomely pink room we stayed in.

The store on the busiest shopping corner in Bondi Beach had one of our photos out front! We love Australia!
