If you enjoy the music and want to hear more, visit the official Debbie website! www.debbiemusic.com

"Is it all about money? Is it all about fame? Is it all about cars & houses & everything? Nuhuh... that's not it... it's more than that..." These are the words Debbie uses to intro her 2004 Thai-language R&B jam Mak Kwa Nan (More Than That)" As her love and talent for music has proven; she is also more than that. Just listen to any of her three albums, each performed in a different language, and you'll get the picture. With a daring approach to her musical sound, Debbie doesn't just want to push the boundaries of contemporary Christian music; she wants to see lives transformed by the awesome power of God she has personally experienced. Her ministry is her passion just as much as her music and that makes Debbie one of contemporary Christian music's top emerging talents who critics and audiences are discovering.

Born in Cosenza, Italy in 1978, Debbie Klongtruadroke had always been immersed in the arts. Coming from a multi-talented family adept, fascinated by and deeply involved in aesthetics, architecture, cinema, literature, music, poetry, song, theatre and dance, it's no surprise Debbie has evolved into the artist she is today--a powerhouse vocalist who brings forth deep meaning and feeling to her music by taking an active and participatory role in the evolution of her art.

Debbie's exotic features stem from her mixed Thai and Italian heritage. After relocating from Italy to Bangkok, Thailand at age 11, it was not long until those exotic features caught the attention of top modeling agencies working for companies such as Jantzen, Esprit, Benetton and Lee Jeans. By the time Debbie had graduated from High School, she already was a veteran model, feature-film actress and a television presenter. However, Debbie's foremost artistic passion was always music. After enrolling in Bangkok's Domata Bible School, she further nurtured her Christian faith and eventually became a gifted worship leader at a local church. Then, Debbie set her sights on a recording career that would solidify her dedication to music and become a genuine expression of her faith and love for God.

Debbie has recorded songs in Thai, Italian, English and Spanish. Her real passion for music is seen in her latest release Crossover, Debbie's first full English album. Her love for worship and commitment to evangelism are also deeply expressed on this album. Blending Eastern and Western musical influences, Crossover's unique approach brings a new world of music to audiences everywhere.

During the past two years, Debbie's TV career has blossomed too. She is a regular co-host on a Thai language Christian television show called From Heart to Heart (Thailand's version of The 700 Club). Whatever the upcoming years hold in store for Debbie, one thing is certain; the future is bright for this young Christian singer/songwriter. The path God has set her on is only beginning. Her artistry is truly not about the money or fame, as her intelligent lyrics and powerful vocal range demonstrate in the heart and soul of her songs, Debbie is truly much more than that.

ALL THIS FOR ME: The Background Story

I remember being very touched after watching Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ". Not too long after that Bruno, my producer, sent me a track to listen to. The touching, almost melancholy guitar rift and the simple yet powerful melody won my heart instantly. I started jotting down images and thoughts that came to my mind as I meditated on the Lord's passion. Mike and I went over those thoughts and together we wrote the lyrics of "All this (for me)". We wanted the listener to understand the depth of the ordeal Jesus went through, and the reason why He did: His passion was His unconditional love towards each one of us.

I personally believe that Christianity is not a religion, but a beautiful intimate relationship with God: a relationship that is based on God's actions and our response. We love Him because He first loved us. If we had a strong revelation of His love towards us, it would not be difficult to live for Him and love Him as He deserves to be loved. That is my greatest endeavor: to know the width and the length and the height of the love of Christ that I may be filled with the fullness of God. That is the point of this song. I pray that the Holy Spirit may use All This For Me to help us realize it more deeply than ever before.
