About
Desing is an indie/folk band with jazz infuences made up of Yari Spadoni (doublebass, guitars and vocals) and Simone Stefanini (lead vocals and guitars). Yari and Simone they mainly focus in songwriting, infuenced from artists as Tom Waits, Nick Drake, Angelo Badalamenti and Chet Baker.
In 2007 they recorded new songs for the ep "Sunday Songs" and after some live shows in a straight acoustic duo, during the fall of 2008 they recorded 2 new songs for a split in vinyl 7 inch, with Marianne Dissard, songwriter from Tucson, AZ, produced by Joey Burns of Calexico.
In late 2008 they had a minitour with Marianne and the beginning of 2009 sees the band working on a Twin Peaks Tribute Project with Nightsage and John Neff, who works with David Lynch and former member of Blue Bob.
