"Silk Wolf is the fresh new project alias of Destin Jacobus, hailing from Atlanta, GA in the dirty south. His sound is a refreshing result of the influences and collaborations from over the years mixing deep, dark and dirty sounds of ghetto house, minimal/tech house, hip hop, indie electro, glitch hop, dubstep and techno. Recently, since the birth of this new creative project, his music and his mixtapes have already been aired on a variety of radio programs (both over the internet and on FM stations across the globe) and have been receiving hot feedback from both the press and from the dance floors. Pioneering his self proclaimed sound of minimal crunk house, it seems he's quite keen on taking the sounds of hip hop and expanding the possibilities on the underground dance floors, as well as taking "white" music and smothering it with a fresh coat of blackness. Next time you plan on going to the disco, take brass knuckles for protection."
"I've been listening to your two latest dj-sets, f*cking great stuff man. Really cool selection and good sounds. Very good nerve in all of it. I also liked the productions you have been uploading. the kind of music that makes me feel cool about myself when listening to it ... it is very rare that I hear electronic music that sounds fresh, cool and with loads of energy without sounding like old shit. I seriously think you sit on sh*t loads of talent man." - Inkfish (Sweden)
