About

Dhruv is a composer, producer and respected guitar player. Coming from a distinguished lineage of Indian classical musicians and an alumnus of the Berkelee College of Music and M.I., he is one of the founding partners of Smoke and Blue Frog.

DISTANCE is Dhruv's debut as a solo artist, released on Blue Frog Records (January 09), containing virtuosic arrangements and peaceful sounds blending jazz and contemporary Indian roots. Recorded over five years across two continents with some of the best recording artists, DISTANCE is the natural result of Dhruv's song writing and recording path, and is easily the finest album of its genre in recent times.
