The quarter will soon be coming to a close...

I may not receive one of my grants for $1,000!!!! >( I'm not completely sure why. I'll have to contact Financial Aid. I send them so many emails and calls that I feel like I'm a huge pest.

Not that original, I know. BUT...: I tried different angles in an attempt to have a creative 'penny on the train track' picture, but the light wasn't so great depending on where I was taking the picture. I ended up with this. I felt it wasn't very original...especially when I googled, 'penny on the train tracks' and found similar images! But, there's something different about mine that I thought I would point out. Do you see the light in the distance? Follow the track -- that light is an oncoming train! I came at the perfect time. Unfortunately, I read a terrifying article before I headed to the location. The article was about how people have died while placing pennies on tracks! I was so terrified, before the train came, I threw my penny in the bushes because I was afraid the penny would somehow fly out and injure me or someone else! I plan to return later this week to flatten my penny. Hopefully I will be able to get a good picture of the train moving head-on.

Practice with rounded edges...: My head was on the verge of exploding... I saved, saved, and saved this picture time and time again. The background would not turn transparent so that I would have nice round edges. After googling my problem, I saved this image as a .Png and the transparency STILL would not save when I uploaded it to Facebook. The hard white corners were still there...but it seems to work with Virb. So...at least I know it works correctly...

Pimsleur sucks...who speaks Spanish?

I started my Spanish lessons using the Pimsleur Spanish audio edition. I learned that "Del don" means excuse me/pardon me. BUT when I looked it up on Yahoo's Babel Fish website, the translation of 'Del don' is 'of the gift.' What....?

If you speak Spanish, let me know the story.
