About
Ray Tovey, (Wakefield, UK) aka Diasonic, is an electronic musician, taking influence from 90's Electronica and Hip-Hop, amongst other genres. Live, Tovey has played a number of laptop-based shows supporting the likes of (Chris) Clark, Mike Paradinas, Tim Exile, LFO, Plaid and Daedelus amongst others. In 2009 Tovey set up the 'Ten Eyes' label as a means of releasing his solo output. The first release will be the Diasonic EP, 'EP One', due to be available digitally in the first quarter of 2009. Tovey is currently finalising the second Diasonic EP 'I Care That I Will Be Worthy', due to be released later on in 2009, again on the Ten Eyes label.
Ray is also member of two bands, namely prog-rock four piece, Messina and multi-drummer post-rock outfit Everybody Is Going to Die.
