About

Fortunately i was raised on a healthy diverse audio diet. My mum loved reggae, soul, folk, funk, calypso.. and my dad was a sound engineer that loved rock, blues & jazz.. After my parents split up I'd go on tour with my dad every christmas with a jordie band called Lindisfarne.
It was there that i started messing around with FX modules, DX7's and banging on the drums after the band had finished sound check.
Ever since Electro 5 (when i was 9 years old) i've been obsessed with electronic music, although i went though a phase of The Beatles and Michael Jackson..
I started making pause mixes with a tape deck and evolved to 2 tape decks and a turntable.
Then to an Amiga computer and a 4 track. Then to a Yamaha RS7000.. and finally Cubase SX on a PC with a Moog Voyager and various FX units. In 1997 i started a media studies course with the thought of becoming a sound engineer but was having so much fun making silly films i was awarded with the point media award for creative excellence and decided to get into film.
I started my degree in film, media & society at Northbrooke college in Worthing in 1998 but had trouble focusing as i just spent most of my time playing with sounds when i should of been writing essays,, so i jacked it in and moved down the road to Brighton and started to focus on making my lovely noise.
In the summer of 2001 at the Prince Albert pub in Brighton after a live set (i nervously performed) i was questioned by a charming couple who later put out my 1st 12" EP on their lovely COOKSHOP label. After that i focused on going back to my roots with a mega mix incorporating various genres but keeping it in a hip hop frame of mind. I sent it to Coldcut's Solid Steel and a week later it was broadcast to the world. In March 2006 Cookshop released my 2nd 12" EP which received very postive feedback. Today I'm still working on 'my album', which one day will get finished. hehe
