In 2002 Disassembler discovered the Nanoloop 1.0 compilation at a local record shop and then ordered his first Nanoloop cartridge. Since then he has been developing his own stylistic sound by experimenting with a number of different techniques and approaches to making music. He draws a lot of influence from IDM, Minimal Techno, Acid Techo and Berlin’s current Electronic music scene.
Disassembler uses various versions of Nanoloop to create what could be best described as Minimal Techno. He also incorporates Ableton Live into his setup by sampling patterns from Nanoloop and mixes them with other reconstructed beats and loops in Live to create a unique blend of two distinct sound-sets.
