sessizlik hâlâ bir gürültür
konuşmak kendi içinde bilmeyi hayal etmektir
bilmemek için artık konuşulmamalıdır.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The motions, graceful and of an impudence verging on the comic, were a perfect translation into visual terms of the strident and wily sounds of the music. What moved him, however, was not the dance itself so much as the strangely detached, somnambulistic expression of the girl. Her smile was fixed, and, one might have added, her mind as well, as if upon some object so remote that only she knew of existence. There was a supremely impersonal disdain in the unseeing eyes and the curve of the placid lips. The longer he watched, the more fascinating the face became; it was a mask of perfect proportions, whose beauty accrued less from the configuration of features then from the meaning that was implicit in their expression-meaning, or the withholding of it. For what emotion lay behind the face it was impossible to tell. It was as if she were saying: "A dance is being done. I do not dance because I am not here. But it is my dance."

New album out from Entity

Of course it was all a load of nonsense...

[NTT053] disastrato - Très Textual

Disastrato's "Très Textual" is a collection of recordings, found sounds and peculiar abstract tweakings, shaped into the form of this short album over the years.
The result is a tongue in cheek approach to experimental music with a focus on sound, music psychology, text, personae (behavioral psychology?) and various snippets of random information. Always variable, never predictable, this is a conceptual album that shows the uniquity of disastrato's vision.

eyes closed again, no composition; just flows with all their flaws.
no sampling, no games... irrelevant to intelligence. frank and intimate.

another step "forward" and you have nothing but silence:
where music ends, where it's born

new name for a self: wind through leaves.
disaster is no more as there is nothing left to destroy.
