About

Chad Allen got his first taste of house music back in 1992. A good friend at the time took him to this small club in Orlando that did'nt even get started until 3AM, after everything else has closed. At the time he had no idea the effect the music and the people would have on his life. That club was Aahz.

After hearing the way Kimball Collins and Dave Cannalte (as well as the infamous first US sets of Sasha and Digweed) directed the vibe of the entire club from from two turntables, he couldn't resist the temptation of becoming a DJ. He started collecting a few records from a little shop run by Robbie Clark in Orlando called Underground Music.

After establishing a decent record collection and releasing quite a few mix tapes, Chad got his opportunity to dj at a small club in Lakeland, FL called Unity. Over his 2 year residency he hosted many great parties with other Central Florida DJ's at the time like Chris Fortier, Steve McClure(Monk), Dj Three, Andy Hughes, Mark Hunt, and even a night or two with his mentor, Kimball Collins.

Chad also started to play at more venues around the state. The legendary Firestone (Orlando), JJ Whispers (Orlando), the Abyss (Orlando), Simons (Gainesville), and the Edge (Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale) were just a few of the spots chad played at regularly. His DJ travels took him throughout the eastern us including frequent gigs in North Carolina and Georgia.

After moving to Tampa in 1997, his style began move away from the progressive house and breaks and evolve into a more house oriented style due the musical influences he surrounded himself with. With the helpful guidance of DJ Three and Monk, he was again given the opportunity to play frequently at Masquerade, at the time, the largest house club in Tampa. During that time he also played at Budios Maximus, The Castle, Tracks, Rain, DNA, and quite a few infamous nights at one of his favorite venues, Luna Lounge

Over time he has played at numerous events and clubs throughout Florida and the southeast US playing along side many well known DJ's and Producers including: Doc Martin, Josh Wink, Keoki, Andy Hughes, Kimball Collins, Carl Cox, DJ Three, Chris Fortier, Icey, DJ Dan, Chang, Jask, Mike Hiratzka, Steve Porter, Jesse Skeens (Medway), Markie Mark, Sean Cusick, Jimmy Van M, and Garth.

I like the Synthetic Soul re-work of Dee Pattern.
