About

I currently reside in San Francisco were I have been for the last decade, I like spending lavishly, skating, breaking stuff, robots, punk rock, shredding, mpc, playing drums, sit-ups, pushups, carnivals/county fairs, Coney island, h&m, forever21, time travel, Halloween, the Westfield center, and most of all being a human jukebox. Started djing in 1994 playing punk, new wave, alternative, hip hop, house, disco, metal, electro and just anything I would find in local record & thrift stores, a high school friend and I found two shitty belt drive Technics turntables and a Gemini scratchmaster mixer in a local thrift store one day while skipping school and thought it would be a good idea if we started making mix tapes and playing the crappiest most ironic music we could find at house parties, shows and anywhere else we could set the shit up and play, being as we were all into hardcore, punk & alternative at the time, playing Hall & Oates and Wham did not go over well with our peers, so my friend and I decided to just start playing the music we were really into like Youth Of Today, Minor Threat, Jaw Breaker, Ramones, Operation Ivy, Misfits, etc, but to mix it continuously like the hip-hop and rave dj's at the time were doing. we started going to as many hip hop & and all night rave parties as we could to get schooled, as time went by I eventually found myself playing more rap, house, new wave, post punk and any weird 80's electro stuff I could get my hands on, which at the time was allot! The 90's was a period when record & thrift stores were overflowing with stuff like Nucleus, Egyptian lover, World Class Wrecking Crew, Gang Of Four and just rad records that you would find for like 50 cents, which made being a dj at the time really cheap & easy! Anyways that's how I started, and I have continued doing what I had began as a joke in high school, to a fulltime career today, where I have played shows with such talent as The Scissor Sisters, Moving Units, The Rapture, Harmar Superstar, Franz Ferdinand, Nick Zinner, Steve Aoki/ Weird Science, etc etc, blah blah blah, And have done official & unofficial remixes for bands like The Virgins, Louis XIII, Liquid Liquid, Basement Jaxx, Yoko Ono, Thieves Like Us and many others, thanks for reading and buy my sperm!
