Born in 1983. Oxford based Dj/Producer - Dj Greencode, real name Tristan Clark, began his journey into drum & bass in 1997 listening to Ganja Kru's 'New Frontier's EP' and 'Newforms LP' by Roni Size. Hooked on the rhythm & tempo of the genre he immediately learnt to mix in 1998 & supported the local rave scene from the age of seventeen. Eager to learn music production he studied Music Technology at Reading College for two years in 2002. Djing under a former alias, Tristan released a track on Reading College Record label - Homeless Pigeon Records in 2003 (www.homelesspigeon.com). Ever since he has worked to improve the standard of his tracks & find his production style. Greencode likes to play deep, dark, techy, Drum & Bass, though he listens to all styles and often incorporates Liquid & Jump up into his mixes. He has performed regular shows on internet radio's such as www.barebass.co.uk & performs at club nights in & around oxford as well as in London, Bristol, High Wycombe & Reading. He is resident Dj for darkwaxradio.com & Upload - Bristols freshest techn-dnb night(www.virb.com/Upload) In april 2005 he won Kaizen Records Dj of the week Competition; www.Kaizenrecords.com.
On June 24th 2006 Greencode played his debut in the Big Smoke, Djing for a charity night in Kings Cross, London.
On November 29th 2006 Greencode came 2nd place in a live Dj competition at Oxford's Hit&Run night. Greencode has DJ'd at several nights in Oxford including, Breakfreekz, Subshock, Kinetic & his own night Terraforms.
